This will be the 6th Edinburgh Moonwalk to raise funds to target breast cancer and this year the theme will be Moulin Rouge! It will be a spectacular night of infectious energy, camaraderie and fun as over 10,000 women and men run or walk around Edinburgh on the famous 'moonwalk' marathon (26.2m) or half-marathon (13.1m) challenge through the night.

There are many volunteering opportunities to support this event in a variety of roles including marshals to guide and help along the route, drivers to get the team around the city, specialist cycle volunteers, and support roles to provide food, water, blankets and to help at the finish line.

A Wave of Friendship volunteer at last year's event said 'I never imagined this would be such an amazing experience and that I would enjoy it so much!'
