There is a long history of volunteer involvement in NHS Shetland and volunteers contribute to a variety of ways and provide help within hospitals or in the community. NHS Shetland values and supports the important part volunteers play in the life and work of the organisation. Music is a powerful tool which will enhance the patient experience whilst in hospital.

You will need basic music skills and knowledge and also have a pleasant and kind nature. You will need to be patient and kind and have a good sense of humour, good communication skills and enjoy socialising.
