Bonchester Brass Funneloniums

Bonchester Brass is using the funnelonium concept as an introduction to playing a musical instrument.At several,recent workshops held at local events in the Scottish Borders participants immediately went on to take part in the main event itself by playing in a " plastic"  brass band.

More workshops are envisaged and anyone taking part will have the opportunity to move on to playing a real brass instrument.

Funded by Voluntary Arts Scotland's Make a Splash! grant scheme - part of the People Making Waves programme co-ordinated by Volunteer Development Scotland.People Making Waves is part of the Scottish Project,funded by the National Lottery through Legacy Trust UK & the Scottish Arts Council.
