Bushcraft and bell tents

Urban Roots are delighted to have been awarded a grant from Make-a-Splash to purchase a bell tent and run a 2 day bushcraft course.

3 months on and we have 10 excited folk signed up to learn how to bind tree roots into fish hooks and weave cordage from nettles, have had a day of storytelling in the bell tent and are planning the first official camp out in our woodland.

Following that we're plotting a series of workshops to pass on some of our newfound crafts to others.

Its looking like an action packed summer!
