Highland Woodturners
We are a group of more than 60 woodturners from all over the Highlands, some skilled and some novices, keen to learn.
We have met for 5 years in inadequate premises and with inadequate equipment. But this year, by much voluntary effort and by using up most of our funds, we have gained good premises. If we get better equipment such as lathes, we will set up a training program for the junior and novice members. We hope the quality of woodturning in the area is about to make a great leap forward, as we have just been awarded a generous grant from People making Waves -- Make a Splash!
