The rollout of Make a Splash! events continues in the New Year. Voluntary Arts Scotland will be in Edinburgh and Barrhead in February with this exciting new project which forms part of People Making Waves.
The sessions are a good way to consider how you can attract new and diverse people to participate in your activities beyond such events. Through discussions we will be looking at what are the barriers to people currently taking part and how you can try new ideas and approaches.
The Make a Splash! events will be run in conjunction with the Scottish Wave of Change strand of People Making Waves. Led by Gerry Hassan – writer, commentator, policy analyst – and building on Scotland 2020 and Glasgow 2020 futures project, this strand is exploring the potential of people across Scotland through a series of discussion events, using stories, creativity and hope inspired by the Olympic and Paralympic values. A good companion to the work you will be doing in relation to thinking about how you can attract more people to your activities.
See the Events page for start times and venues of the different locations. Participants are invited to come along earlier to have a bit to eat and a drink before nourishing the mind!
Cost: Free!
