Overview

People Making Waves is an exciting new initiative from Volunteer Development Scotland which aims to compile an inspiring ‘digital storybook’ of volunteering experiences in Scotland. Funded by Legacy Trust UK and the Scottish Arts Council, volunteers will be able to use words, images, movies and podcasts to form an imaginative and lasting legacy of Scottish volunteering.

However, for the project to be a success, we need your help to gather as many volunteering stories as possible. To make this easier for you, we’ve created a ‘Storytelling Kit’ - a range of useful online tools you can include in your marketing - designed to encourage volunteers to participate in this unique project.

Banners and Buttons

Buttons and banners are the quickest and simplest way to link your volunteers to www.peoplemakingwaves.org.uk. They come in various formats and all buttons will direct users to the ‘My Volunteering’ section to start telling their stories.

Simply Copy the code to the right of the button or banner you wish to display and paste it into the webpage you wish to display it on.
