North West Training Centre Arts & Craft Group jump start!!

North West Training Centre Arts & Craft Group are delighted to be in receipt of a Make a Splash Grant *.  Funding will allow the Group to properly establish itself with regular Arts & Craft training from qualified tutors.  The Group evolved on an informal basis as a result of a short course of introductory arts workshops based in North West Training Centre at Kinlochbervie High School.  The Centre is a registered Scottish Charity managed by a team of 8 volunteers situated in an isolated corner of Sutherland.  Thanks to Make a Splash the Group can now meet regularly, involve new members, improve their creative talents and local profile as well as provide a social focus in this remote and scattered community - the nearest supermarket is 70 miles and traffic lights some 100 miles!!
